Partnerships
In the early years, The Mary Mavec Opportunity School of Euclid’s focus was education. Primary and intermediate classrooms were at capacity with twelve students each and the workshop served eight adult clients. Students learned reading, writing, and life skills.
In the 1970s, partnerships with Borromeo College and the
Euclid YMCA brought Mary Mavec students physical education opportunities that continue today including basketball, bowling, and swimming.
